Statement by the Minister for Foreign Affairs on Egyptian Bombings

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dermot Ahern T.D., has expressed his horror at reports of the bomb attacks in Dahab, Egypt. 

The Minister said:
“I unreservedly condemn these appalling outrages.  Our deepest sympathies are with the victims and their families, and we stand in solidarity with the Government and people of Egypt.  The international community must do all in its power to bring the perpetrators of such attacks to justice and must redouble its efforts to thwart their activities.”
